Dotnetnuke 5.0 officially released
Version 5.0 of the Dotnetnuke framework has been released.
Version 5.0 (Cambrian) of the Dotnetnuke framework is now available for download at www.dotnetnuke.com and has been approved for use in production environments.
This new version of Dotnetnuke offers a lot of new features. Some of these exciting new features are:
- Localization of static text in skins
- Integrated jQuery support
- Additional features are added to the installer
- New token format for skins
- Client-side widgets
- Use admin modules like any other module
- Skins, module and containers now use extensions
- Modules can be used as IE 8 Web slices
